Biography
Nineteen-year-old Phillip Tonn started motocross at the age of nine. He also completed a pocket bike course and from that moment his goal was clear – to compete and race successfully within the motorcycle road racing world championship.
His natural talent was evident from an early age with Phillip winning multiple back-to-back titles in his native Germany. After numerous national successes, in 2018 he had his first. taste of international competition. Competing in the Hawkers Cup – a series within the highly competitive Spanish series, Phillip finished an impressive fourth overall.

A second Red Bull Rookies season in 2020 was combined with a full season in the European Talent Cup (ETC) where once again Phillip excelled. Further ETC success followed in 2021 before he switched to the FIM Junior World Championship in 2022. A world championship points scorer Phillip focused on the IDM German Supersport 300 Championship in 2023. Race victories were soon achieved with Tonn ending the year a very credible fifth overall.
